CUBOS Madrid

CUBOS MADRID is a project for the artistic transformation of one of the most iconic places in the centre of Madrid, the Plaza de los Cubos and its mythical underground passage. Artists of international relevance, linked in one way or another to the city, will create on its walls a series of works that will transmit their perception, their experiences and their vision of Madrid.

15 artists will be in charge of this comprehensive intervention, an exceptional cast of artists who will highlight the idea of Madrid as an open and welcoming city, regardless of their place of origin.

This emblematic youth and leisure meeting point of the capital is positioned as a reference space for urban art, through a series of new murals, textile interventions and others made with the technique of tape art.

Through a permanent call for entries, emerging and established artists will participate in the rotating wall, periodically creating new murals on one of the walls of the passage.
