Since it opened in 1995, as well as being Mallorca’s first ever shopping center, Porto Pi has served as a meeting place for locals and tourists in a privileged location, opposite the port of Palma, right on the city’s seafront promenade, and with spectacular views of the bay and the Porto Pi lighthouse from its terraces and outdoor walkways.
Porto Pi boasts the largest and most comprehensive range of fashion brands in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands, with operators that include the entire Inditex group, the Tendam group, H&M, and other prestigious brands. This is complemented by sporting goods retailers and a large fitness center, children’s fashion and toy stores, with a large Toys’R’Us and a Carrefour hypermarket. And all is topped off by diverse local, national, and international cuisine in a Mallorcan setting overlooking the Mediterranean, as well as major leisure operators such as the Casino de Mallorca and Premium Ocine cinemas.
The recent complete refurbishment performed in 2021 has given Porto Pi large outdoor spaces that respect the environment, the local community and culture, such as the plazas and the iconic bioclimatic pergolas designed specifically for the center, where all types of musical, sporting, commercial, and culinary events are held, as well as a thermo-ventilated façade with large screens that give it a modern and urban look. Inside, the finishes, facilities, services, and spaces for experiences have been updated to give the center a sophisticated, bright, warm, and inviting ambience.
