Strategic Data Centers for the Digital Economy

Data centers are no longer simply technological infrastructure. They are strategic assets that underpin the digital economy, artificial intelligence and the essential services on which our society relies.

This was one of the key reflections shared during the breakfast session “Digital Resilience: Data Center Governance from the Boardroom”, organised by Chapter Zero Spain and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Spain.

José Enrique Crespo Moreno, Data Center Site Manager at MERLIN Edged Data Centers, took part in the session alongside Emilio Díaz, President of SPAINDC, and José Ramón Mourenza Díaz, Energy Counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.

The session was moderated by Jesus López Fidalgo, Director of the Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Navarra.
