We discussed flexible offices at WORKPLACE 2026
Fernando Ramírez Baeza, Director of LOOM, participated in a round table discussion at the WORKPLACE 2026 Forum to discuss the health of the flexible office market in Spain. Organised by CESINE Jornadas, he participated alongside Óscar García Toledo, General Manager of First Workplaces, Tomás Higuero, CEO of Aire Limpio, Javier de Pablo, Co-CEO of SID, and Enrique Isla Álvarez de Tejera, real estate partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, as moderator.
With occupancy rates and rents at historic highs, the outlook for 2026 is very good:
✅ The office market is doing well, and buildings that incorporate flexible and coworking spaces improve user perception and achieve better rents and occupancy rates.
✅ Flexibility is crucial, and it is also essential to create more comfortable spaces.
✅ Face-to-face work continues to increase, and the availability of flexible offices in Madrid and Barcelona is practically zero.
