Achievements of our urban gardens in 2025
The Inclusive Urban Gardens project in our Adequa, Torre Chamartín, Aquamarina, Avenida de Europa and Vía Norte office buildings, managed by the Juan XXIII Foundation and Merlin Hub, has achieved the following in 2025:
✅ 616.77 m² of cultivable areas in Madrid.
✅ 422.27 kg of vegetables harvested, of which 304.63 kg were donated to the Food Bank and delivered to the Rivas-Vaciamadrid Food Recovery Network, benefiting nearly 400 vulnerable families.
✅ 192 environmental awareness and revitalisation activities carried out during the year for the people who work there, such as caring for the gardens, Gardening Tips and Micro Experiential Workshops.
This initiative allows key concepts such as the circular economy, environmental sustainability and social inclusion to be introduced into the workplace through experience.
