The Mayor of Barcelona inaugurates the Barcelona Data Center of MERLIN Edged, which announces a partnership with CoreWeave.

Today we announced the partnership between MERLIN Edged and CoreWeave, the hyperscaler of IATM, to host one of the first large-scale NVIDIA Hopper training and inference supercomputers in Spain at our Data Center in the Free Zone.

At the inauguration event, we had the honour of having the participation of the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni Cuadrado; Albert Tort, Secretary of  Telecommunications and Digital Transformation of the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Cristina Campillo Cruellas, General Director of Digital Infrastructures of the Department of the Presidency of the Generalitat; along with Mike Mattacola, General Manager International of CoreWeave; Jakob Carnemark, founder of Edged Energy and Endeavour.
